Ar. Ts. IDr Rien Tan Kwon Chong
Ar. Ts. IDr Rien Tan is the director of TKCA Architects S/B, with a background of extensive international experience in Osaka, Taipei, and New York, specialising in sustainable tropical design. Ar. Rien is Council member of the Malaysian Institute of Architects since year 2020. In 2023, he was selected as a YSEALI Professional Fellow with the US Green Building Council and was honoured as Malaysia's "Augustman of the Year" in the Art & Design industry. Recently, he was also recognised as one of Malaysia's top 40 under 40 emerging architects.
Under his leadership, TKCA has earned multiple prestigious awards, including the UIA 2030 Awards, Seoul Design Awards, Taiwan Golden Pin Design Awards, Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards (MCIEA), PAM Awards and Creative Colour Awards. He strongly believes in giving back to the community through design, valuing the experiences gained along the way as much as the recognition received.

Ar. Esmonde Yap Shi Wen
Esmonde Yap, an award-winning Malaysian architect and Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Architects, is recognised for his innovative, sustainable design approach rooted in community and cultural heritage. A graduate of the University of New South Wales and a protégé of Pritzker Prize laureate Glenn Murcutt, Esmonde has led acclaimed projects like Menara Hap Seng 3 and Gamuda Quayside Mall, which embody his commitment to climate-responsive architecture and green building principles. In 2021, he co-founded Spatial Factors Architects, where he spearheads projects that transform urban spaces into vibrant, culturally resonant hubs. His recent achievements include the PAM Kuala Lumpur Architectural Festival’s Terra Tapestry and Timber Pavilion, and multiple awards for public installations, all aimed at creating spaces that deepen community engagement, honour Malaysia’s rich heritage, and promote environmental stewardship in the urban landscape.

IDr Dr. Azimin Tazilan
Dr. Zi M. TaziIan is a Malaysian artist-designer and the founder of Ultranovate Studio-Lab, based in Kuala Lumpur.
He holds a Master's degree in 3-Dimensional interior architecture from Manchester Metropolitan University (1996) and a PhD in sustainable development with a focus on Micro-Architecture Design for urban streets from UKM (2010).
Dr. Zi also serves as an Associate Professor in Architecture and Engineering at UKM and has shared his expertise at various universities in Malaysia.
Dr. Zi, a recipient of numerous international awards for his inventions and design products promoting sustainable lifestyles, has also shared his insights on technology, design innovation, culture, and sustainability as a guest on live design forums broadcasted on Astro/TV.

Eric Wong Weng Hoe is a professional architect registered with the Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia. He began his career in architecture after graduating and practised in Singapore for over 15 years. During this time, he worked with renowned firms such as SCDA, RMJM, and P&T, and was involved in the design of award-winning bungalows, condominiums, resorts, and public housing projects.
After returning to Malaysia, Eric established his own architectural practise, Hoe Design Architect, in 2012, and later HOD Design Consultancy in 2017 to provide interior and furniture design service. He continues to apply his design philosophy in all of his work.

Ahmad Thaqif was born in 1986 in Teluk Intan,
Perak. He is the founder & managing director of HDAT Design & Build (M) Sdn Bhd. Well known as Abang Mad Cabinet, he received his Diploma in Furniture Design & Production from the programme Technopreneurship Development Institute Kemahiran MARA Alor Setar, Kedah. Where his passion for design and entrepreneurship began. A year after gaining working experience in a manufacturing company, he stepped into the world of entrepreneurship, setting up his own company, HDAT, at age 35.
